• Profile

    You can customize your Moodle profile to personalize the learning environment.

    Access your profile

    1. From anywhere within Moodle, click on your name at the top right of the screen.
    2. Select Profile.

    Change your time zone

    1. Select Edit your profile.
    2. Scroll down the page to Timezone.
    3. Select the correct timezone from the dropdown list.
    4. Click Update profile.

    Add a photo

    1. Select Edit your profile.
    2. Scroll down the page to User Picture.
    3. Select Choose a file…
    4. Select Browse and locate the image on your computer.
    5. Click Upload this file.
    6. You can add a description of the picture at this point.
    7. Finally click Update Profile.

    Change your email notification settings

    1. From anywhere within Moodle, click on your name at the top right of the screen.
    2. Select Profile.
    3. A new menu will appear at the top of the page. Click on 'Preferences'
    4. Click on 'Forum preferences'
    5. Select your preferred digest type. The options are as follows:
      • No digest (single email per forum post): Every time a message is posted to a forum you are subscribed to, you will receive an email notification
      • Complete (daily email with full posts): One email a day, containing all of the forum posts in their complete form
      • Subjects (daily email with subjects only): One email a day, containing all of the forum posts, but only listing their subjects and not the actual message
    6. Click 'Save changes'.
